Meet Team INFINIT: Rachel Langdon
- Aug 7, 2017
Rachel Langdon is an INFINIT racer entering her first year as a professional cyclist. Originally from across the pond (Stockton, England) Rachel settled in Kentucky and played soccer for the Murray State Racers, and helped guide them to two conference titles. After her Collegiate career came an end she was looking for something to keep her occupied. At first she competed in Triathlons (making it to Ironman 70.3 world championships in 2015) but realized her true passion was on the bike.
Upon this realization Rachel began competing in cyclocross races, and fell in love. Rachel quickly moved from Cat 4 to Cat 2 in cyclocross and road racing in just her first year on the bike. Rachel has challenged herself with some bigger NRC races and hanging tough at Joe Martin Stage Race and Tulsa Tough. Locally at the Fat and Skinny Tire Festival Rachel was able to take the sweep winning the time trial, road race and criterium, she won Kentucky crit championship, and found the podium every day at dash for cash, Hyde Park and Madiera.
“It works for whatever you need it for. I have done triathlons, Ironmans, Endurance Bike races, Criteriums and Cyclocross. No matter the distance, the weather, INFINIT is the only nutrition that is easy to use, doesn’t give me GI distress and WORKS!”
Rachel started racing on the ISCorp women's team in 2017 which is also sponsored by INFINIT. The team is made up of Rachel, Sam and Skyler Schneider, Jose Talbot, and Caroline Baur. Rachel and this team have experienced a great deal of success so far in 2017 with Skyler taking third place at Tulsa Tough, as well as the team taking multiple stage wins thus far this year.
