MUD Pre-workout Meal Supplement

I tried MUD for the first time this sunday for my first triathlon of the season (Spring Sprint) as a pre-race meal (2 scoops in 16 Oz of vanilla flavored almond milk, which tasted DELICIOUS and was surprisingly filling without a heavy or bloat-y feeling), and rode my bike to the race 2 miles away. It was a miserable cold, rainy and windy day (rare for San Diego) and everyone was wondering if the swim would be canceled. People were Scarfing down bars and gels and coffee trying to stay energized and warm... and I was feeling great with just the MUD and confident in my custom formula (just one bottle for the bike).

I had my best swim to date, was blowing past people on the bike, and PR'd my 5k. Didn't stop at the hydration station, didn't feel hungry, didn't have any gels or anything else and was feeling AWESOME.

I beat my goal time by 4 minutes, had energy left in the tank, and still hung out for the awards ceremony in the pouring rain and biked back to my hotel.

Had my best triathlon experience so far thanks in part to better training, and of course MUCH better nutrition. Will continue to use this for as long as I race!
