As a pro triathlete, I love MUD for so many different reasons. I drink it before my early morning swims. The carbs and caffeine provide instant energy, and the protein keeps my morning hunger at bay so I'm not starving in the pool. I also keep a pack at work - an afternoon serving helps tremendously with post-work, pre-dinner workouts, and it's great to have it on hand when I need a quick, nutritious morning snack.
