We’re excited to announce Lauren Goss as the newest member of the Team INFINIT roster for the 2019 and 2020 race seasons!

Lauren, a 70.3 distance champion and rising star in the sport of triathlon, will be supporting her training and racing with INFINIT as her sole nutrition, as she works towards her goal of taking a podium spot at every race she competes in this year.


Early Career

Lauren grew up a competitive swimmer in her hometown of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She stayed close to home for college, and attended Clemson University where she completed her Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences.

As an undergrad, Lauren received her first taste of triathlons. Her first race was in July of 2009; not even a year later she earned her Pro Card at the Collegiate National Championship. That same year, she was also named the 2010 Under-23 Athlete of the Year by USA Triathlon.

Lauren’s racing career has taken off since going pro, and she continues to make waves in the triathlon world. She really made a name for herself in the Ironman 70.3 distance the last couple seasons, and you can regularly see her topping the podium.

Lauren’s Plant-Based Lifestyle

Lauren has been following a vegan, plant-based diet since early 2017. The switch to cooking and eating everything plant-based has led her to try new foods, and experiment with new strategies to ensure she is getting the nutrition she needs to support her training and racing.

Most days you can find Lauren blending nutrition-packed fruit smoothies, preparing lots of vegetables, and cooking up beans and quinoa for protein. She even makes her own almond milk!

Lauren’s Fueling Strategy

Lauren first tried INFINIT in 2018 after borrowing a fellow pro’s blend and liking how it tasted. Shortly after being introduced to the product, she decided to try out her own Custom Blend. Lauren worked with an INFINIT Formulation Specialist to come up with the perfect bike and running blends, and really dial in her fueling strategy.

Using her Custom Blends as her fueling strategy, she rounded out her 2018 season on a high note taking the overall win at 70.3 Cartagena. Lauren will be starting her 2019 season by racing IRONMAN 70.3 Peru on April 14th.
