We here at INFINIT are truly honored and privileged to continue our partnership with the Chris Klug Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting lifesaving organ and tissue donation and improving the quality of life for those touched by donation. 2017 marks the 4th consecutive year that we’ve teamed up to support CKF and the awesome work they do, both on and off the bike.

Founded in 2003, the Chris Klug Foundation gets its name from its namesake, Chris Klug, Olympic medalist snowboarder and liver transplant recipient. In 2000, after being on the National Transplant Waiting List for six long years, Chris received a lifesaving liver transplant to treat a rare disease called primary sclerosing cholangitis.

Just eighteen months after receiving his lifesaving transplant, Chris received a bronze medal in the Parallel Giant Slalom at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. The very next year, he used $3,000 of his own money to begin the Chris Klug Foundation... In case you can’t tell, Chris is a pretty awesome guy.

The Chris Klug Foundation has a group of riders that train for and compete in the Leadville MTB 100 each year. The team helps support CKF’s mission by training, fundraising, and raising awareness for organ and tissue donation.

The Leadville 100 is one of the most challenging mountain bike races in North America and consists of climbing about 12,000 vertical feet over 100 miles of trails. INFINIT is proud to fuel the team through their training and keep them going strong on race day.

Said Klug himself, "I am blown away by the challenge and even more by the athletes who commit to such an adventure. Infinit Nutrition supports us all from start to finish.”
