Ski marathons take me between 2-3hrs on average and maintaining nutrition can be hard with two ski poles in your hands. I needed a higher calorie endurance formula that would last me longer than an hour since it is hard to drink as much as needed. If I expect a relentless marathon endurance pace, extra cold weather, or if there is nobody to give me a bottle hand-off, I use 3 scoops of this high calorie drink mix in my bottle instead of the recommended 2 scoops.
